Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Winona, start at the Winona County History Center located at 160 Johnson St. From there, head west on Johnson St. until you reach Main St. Turn right (north) onto Main St. and walk for about three blocks until you reach the intersection with 5th St. Turn left (west) onto 5th St. and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Bluff St. Turn right (north) onto Bluff St. and follow it for about one mile. Lake Park will be on your left at the intersection with Lake Park Dr. Look for the entrance to the park, which is easily visible from the road.

• Biking

  For those biking, start at the Winona State University campus. Exit the campus heading south on Huff St. until you reach Main St. Turn left (east) onto Main St. and bike for about 1 mile. At the intersection with 5th St., turn right (south) and continue biking until you reach Bluff St. Turn left (east) onto Bluff St. and bike along the scenic route towards Lake Park. The park entrance will be on your right after passing Lake Park Dr.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transit, start at the Winona bus terminal located at 301 E 4th St. Take the local bus route that heads towards Lake Park, typically marked on the schedule.
