Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Hattiesburg, head east on West Pine Street until you reach the intersection with South 31st Avenue. Turn right onto South 31st Avenue and continue south until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street (US-49). Turn left onto Hardy Street and walk east until you reach the intersection with Highway 42. At this point, you can catch a city bus or continue walking. If you choose to walk, turn right onto Highway 42 and walk approximately 2 miles. Chain Park will be on your left at 5619 Hwy 42.

• Public Transportation

  From downtown Hattiesburg, locate the nearest Hattiesburg City Transit bus stop. Board the bus heading towards the direction of Highway 42. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus stops near Highway 42. Get off at the stop close to the intersection of Highway 42 and Hardy Street. From there, you can either walk to Chain Park (approximately a 15-minute walk) or wait for another bus that heads towards Chain Park.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from downtown Hattiesburg and ride east on West Pine Street. Turn right onto South 31st Avenue and ride south until you reach Hardy Street (US-49). Turn left onto Hardy Street and bike east until you hit Highway 42. Turn right onto Highway 42 and continue biking for about 2 miles. Chain Park will be on your left at 5619 Hwy 42. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
