Getting There

• Walking

  If you are located in Downtown Jackson, start by heading east on Capitol Street. Walk towards the intersection with Farish Street. Once you reach Farish Street, turn left and continue walking north. After a few blocks, you will see Bloom Street on your right. Turn right onto Bloom Street, and the Smith Robertson Museum will be located at 528 Bloom Street on your left. The entire walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From any location in Downtown Jackson, locate the nearest bus stop. You can take the JTRAN bus service. Check the JTRAN schedule for the bus routes that service the Downtown area. If you are on Capitol Street, you can catch the bus heading towards Farish Street. Get off at the stop closest to Bloom Street. From there, walk a short distance south on Bloom Street, and you will find the Smith Robertson Museum at 528 Bloom Street. Please note that there may be a small fare for the bus, typically around $1.50, so be prepared with cash or a transit card.

• Bicycle Rental

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from local bike-sharing services available in Downtown Jackson. Once you have your bike, head east on Capitol Street and then take a left on Farish Street. Continue north until you reach Bloom Street, then take a right. The Smith Robertson Museum will be on your left at 528 Bloom Street. The bike ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on your speed.
