Walking
Start at the Natchez Visitor Center located at 640 S Canal St, Natchez, MS 39120. Head south on S Canal St toward Main St. Turn left onto Main St and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-61. Continue straight onto US-61 N for about 1 mile. At the fork, keep right to stay on US-61 N. After approximately 0.8 miles, turn right onto Emerald Mound Rd. Walk for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach Emerald Mound on your right.
Bicycling
Start at the Natchez Visitor Center at 640 S Canal St. Head south on S Canal St and take a left onto Main St. Continue on Main St, then turn right onto US-61 N. Cycle for about 1 mile, then keep right at the fork to continue on US-61 N. After another 0.8 miles, take a right onto Emerald Mound Rd. Ride for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Emerald Mound on your right.
Public Transit and Walking
From the Natchez Visitor Center, catch the local bus (check the schedule for the latest route information) heading north on US-61. Ride the bus until you reach the stop near the intersection of US-61 and Emerald Mound Rd. Once you disembark, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Emerald Mound Rd until you reach the entrance of Emerald Mound.
