  • Driving

    From the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 84 in Natchez, take Highway 61 North for approximately 4 miles to the community of Stanton. Turn right onto State Park Road and proceed ¼ mile to the intersection of State Park and Wickcliff Road. Turn left onto Wickcliff Road and proceed ¼ mile, then turn right to enter Natchez State Park. The entrance fee is $2 per person.

Natchez State Park, located a few miles north of Natchez, Mississippi, is a 48,000-acre recreational area offering a variety of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The park is particularly known for Natchez Lake, a hotspot for bass fishing, where the Mississippi state record largemouth bass (18.15 pounds) was caught in 1992.Visitors can enjoy a nine-hole disc golf course, a playground, and a 3/4-mile nature trail that starts in Campground B. The park also provides amenities such as picnic areas with grills, a picnic pavilion, and a boat launch for easy access to the water. For those looking to stay overnight, Natchez State Park offers 50 RV campsites, eight tent camping sites, and ten newly renovated lakeside cabins.Beyond recreation, Natchez State Park is situated near the historic city of Natchez, the oldest settlement on the Mississippi River. Natchez offers visitors a chance to explore antebellum mansions and learn about the area's rich history. The park's location also provides convenient access to the Natchez Trace Parkway, a scenic byway that follows a historic trade route.
