If you are driving, head south on US-49 from any location in The Black Prairie. Continue for about 30 miles until you reach Hattiesburg. Take the exit for Hardy St and turn left onto Hardy St. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto S 17th Ave. The Hattiesburg Zoo will be on your right at 107 S 17th Ave. There is parking available on-site, and be aware that there may be a parking fee.

If you prefer to use public transportation, check for bus services from The Black Prairie to Hattiesburg. You can use the local bus service or Greyhound for longer distances. Once you arrive in Hattiesburg, you can take a local bus (Hattiesburg Transit) to the downtown area. From there, it’s about a 1.5-mile walk to the Hattiesburg Zoo. Alternatively, you could use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft from the bus station to the zoo.

If you are already in the Hattiesburg area and prefer to walk, the zoo is located approximately 1.5 miles from downtown Hattiesburg. Start at the corner of Hardy St and Main St, head south on Main St until you reach 17th Ave, then turn left. The zoo will be on your right at 107 S 17th Ave. This walk will take around 30 minutes.
