If you are driving, start from the Natchez Visitor Center located at 640 S Canal St. Head south on S Canal St toward John R Junkin Dr. Continue on John R Junkin Dr for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto US-61 N and continue for about 1 mile. Take the exit toward Natchez Downtown. Merge onto Main St and follow it until you reach S Union St. Turn left onto S Union St, and you will see St Mary's Basilica at 105 S Union St on your right.

If you are using public transportation, check if the local bus service has a stop near the Natchez Visitor Center. Once you are at the Visitor Center, ask for directions to the nearest bus stop that heads toward downtown Natchez. Get on the bus that goes to the Main St area. Once you get off at Main St, walk south towards S Union St. Turn left onto S Union St, and St Mary's Basilica will be at 105 S Union St, just a short walk away.
