If you're driving to Clarkco State Park from any location in The Pine Belt, start by heading towards Quitman, MS. Use Highway 45 to get to Quitman. Once in Quitman, take Exit 84 for MS-514 W. Turn left onto MS-514 W and continue for about 3 miles. Then, turn right onto Clark County Road (you'll see signs for Clarkco State Park). The park entrance will be on your left at 386 Clark County Rd, Quitman, MS 39355. Make sure to check your fuel levels as there may be limited gas stations near the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus or a local transit service that goes to Quitman. Once you arrive at the Quitman bus station, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to Clarkco State Park, which is approximately 6 miles away from the station. It's advisable to pre-arrange your ride as public transport may not run frequently in this area. Confirm the taxi fare beforehand; it typically ranges from $15 to $25 depending on traffic.
