Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, get on Interstate 44 or I-70 depending on your current location. Follow signs for St. Louis. Once in St. Louis, take the exit for Memorial Drive toward the Gateway Arch. Continue on Memorial Drive, and you will see the Arch on your left. There are parking garages nearby such as the Kiener Plaza Garage located at 706 Chestnut St, which charges a fee for parking, typically around $10-$15 for the day.

• Public Transportation - MetroLink

  For those using public transportation, the MetroLink light rail system is a convenient option. If you're near a MetroLink station, purchase a ticket from the vending machine. Take the MetroLink towards the Stadium station, which is the closest stop to the Gateway Arch. Upon exiting the train, follow the signs to the Gateway Arch, which is a short walk away. A one-way ticket costs approximately $2.50.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a Metro Bus to the Gateway Arch. Check the Metro Transit website for the nearest bus stop to your location. Routes 3, 10, and 40 have stops that are a short walk from the park. Ensure you have bus fare ready, which is typically around $2.00 for a one-way trip. Plan your journey in advance using the Metro Transit trip planner.

• Walking

  If you are staying in downtown St. Louis, the Gateway Arch is easily accessible by foot. Look for signs directing you towards the Arch. The park is located at 11 N 4th St, St. Louis, MO 63102. It’s a scenic walk, and you can enjoy various attractions along the way such as the Old Courthouse.
