Car
To reach Kiener Plaza Park from Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site by car, start by heading northwest on IL-3 N. Continue on IL-3 N for about 6 miles until you reach the I-55 N/I-64 W interchange. Merge onto I-55 N/I-64 W and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take exit 40A toward Broadway St and merge onto Broadway St. Continue on Broadway St for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto Convention Plaza. Kiener Plaza Park will be on your right at 500 Chestnut St.

Public Transportation
To get to Kiener Plaza Park via public transportation from Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, first, take the #1 MetroBus from the nearest bus stop on State Route 3 (about a 10-minute walk from the site). Ride the bus heading towards the East St. Louis Terminal. Transfer at the East St. Louis Terminal to the #40 or #2 MetroBus heading toward St. Louis. Get off at the stop near Broadway St and Convention Plaza. Kiener Plaza Park is just a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the bus stop, located at 500 Chestnut St.
