    Liberty Plaza, located in the heart of Historic Downtown Branson, is a vibrant public space that serves as a gathering place for locals and tourists alike. Opened in 2017, the plaza occupies half a city block at the corner of Veterans Boulevard and Pacific Street. It features a 17' x 28' stage area with a unique waterfall backdrop, picnic tables, and a memorial honoring veterans with a statue and medallions.The plaza is a popular venue for a variety of events, including concerts, weddings, birthday parties, and community gatherings. It also offers a spot for picnics, relaxation, and photo opportunities. Liberty Plaza is also home to a stop for Sparky, the free downtown trolley, and provides public restrooms and an electric vehicle charging station.The site holds historical significance as the original location for Branson's city hall, community center, and Taneyhills Library. It was also where the Mabe Brothers, who later became the Baldknobbers, started Branson's first music show in a small basement auditorium. Liberty Plaza seeks to recapture the spirit of the old Liberty Tree, which served as an unofficial gathering place for the city.
