Getting There

• Car

  From St. Louis, take I-55 S for about 60 miles. Take exit 174B for I-44 W toward Joplin. Continue on I-44 W for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 250 for US-67 S toward Poplar Bluff. Follow US-67 S for about 15 miles, then take the exit toward MO-21 S. Follow MO-21 S for about 12 miles until you reach Elephant Rocks State Park at 7390, 7406 MO-21, Belleview, MO 63623. There is no entry fee for the park.

  To reach Elephant Rocks State Park by public transportation, first take a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train to the nearest major city, such as St. Louis. From St. Louis, you can rent a car or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to get to the park. It is approximately a 90-minute drive from St. Louis to the park. • Car from Springfield, MO

  If you're traveling from Springfield, take US-65 N toward Branson for about 30 miles. Merge onto I-44 E toward St. Louis and continue for about 50 miles. Then, take exit 250 for US-67 S toward Poplar Bluff. Follow US-67 S for about 15 miles, then take the exit toward MO-21 S. Continue on MO-21 S for about 12 miles to arrive at Elephant Rocks State Park located at 7390, 7406 MO-21, Belleview, MO 63623.

  Once you arrive near Elephant Rocks State Park, look for the main entrance off MO-21. The park is well-marked with signs. There is ample parking available at the site. Be sure to check the park's hours of operation before your visit, as they are open from 8 AM to 8 PM daily.
