    From the main parking area of Elephant Rocks State Park, exit the park and turn left onto MO-21 S. Continue for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 98. Turn right onto County Road 98 and follow it for about 2 miles. You'll see signs for Hickory Canyons Natural Area. The entrance will be on your left. Parking is available at the entrance, and there are no parking fees.
