Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Hannibal, start at the historic Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum located at 120 N Main St. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Broadway St. Turn left onto Broadway St and continue for another 0.3 miles. Look for the signs directing you to the Riverfront Park, where you will find a walking path along the Mississippi River. Follow the path until you reach a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight, keeping the river on your left. This will lead you to the entrance of Sodalis Preserve, which is about a 1.5-mile walk from the Riverfront Park.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start at the Hannibal Riverfront Park located at 200 N Main St. Head south along the bike path that runs parallel to the river. Follow the path for approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Sodalis Preserve. The biking route is scenic and will allow you to enjoy views of the Mississippi River along the way.

• Public Transport

  Currently, there is limited public transportation directly to Sodalis Preserve from central Hannibal. However, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Hannibal. Simply request a ride to Sodalis Preserve, located at the address Hannibal, MO 63401. It is approximately 3 miles from the heart of Hannibal, and most local drivers will be familiar with the location.
