Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the downtown area of Hannibal, head east on Broadway Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Hill Street. Turn right onto Hill Street. Follow Hill Street as it curves to the left and becomes 2nd Street. Continue on 2nd Street until you reach the intersection with Market Street. From here, turn left onto Market Street and continue walking. The Welcome to Missouri Sign will be located nearby along the roadside at the edge of town.

• Bicycling

  Begin your ride from the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum, located at 120 N Main St. Head south on Main St until you reach the intersection with Broadway St. Turn left onto Broadway and then take a right onto 3rd St after a couple of blocks. Follow 3rd St until you come to Hill Street, then turn right. Continue on Hill Street, which will lead you to 2nd Street. Once you reach 2nd Street, turn left and proceed until you reach Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street, and you will soon see the Welcome to Missouri Sign along the roadside.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Hannibal Transit System, as it may have routes that pass near the Welcome to Missouri Sign. Start at the Broadway and Main Street stop, and take the bus heading towards the east side of town. Ask the driver to let you know when to disembark near the sign, which is along Market Street as you approach the city's edge. Make sure to confirm the latest schedule times for a smooth journey.
