    From the Independence Square, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the RideKC bus route 24 towards downtown Kansas City. Stay on the bus for about 25-30 minutes until you reach the 'Northeast 24th St & Van Brunt Blvd' stop. From there, transfer to route 27 towards the 'Northeast 38th St & Indiana Ave' stop. Get off at 'Northeast 38th St & Cliff Dr'. From the bus stop, walk east along Cliff Dr for about 5 minutes until you reach Cliff Drive Scenic Byway.

  • Walking

    If you're near the Independence Square, head east along Maple Ave until you reach the intersection with Independence Ave. Turn left on Independence Ave and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Van Brunt Blvd. Cross to the other side of Van Brunt Blvd and continue straight onto Cliff Dr. You will walk approximately 3.5 miles, which will take about 1 hour, but you will be treated to scenic views along the way.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Independence Square. Head east on Maple Ave, then take a right on Independence Ave. Follow Independence Ave until you reach Van Brunt Blvd. Take a left onto Van Brunt Blvd and continue until you reach Cliff Dr. This route is about 3.5 miles and should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
