Public Transit
If you're starting from downtown Independence, walk to the nearest bus stop and board the KCATA bus Route 28 (Blue Ridge) heading north. The bus will take you toward the intersection of 39th St and Vivion Rd. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Once you reach the stop at Vivion Rd and 39th St, disembark and walk north on Vivion Rd for approximately 0.5 miles until you see Penguin Park on your right.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local rental stations in Independence. Start from the Independence Square and head north on N Liberty St. Continue on N Liberty St until you reach E 23rd St. Turn left onto E 23rd St and then right onto N Lee's Summit Rd. Follow N Lee's Summit Rd until it merges with Vivion Rd. Continue straight for about 1 mile; Penguin Park will be on your left side.
