After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Shawnee Mission Parkway & Quivira' stop. From there, transfer to Route 571, which will take you directly to '57th St & Lackman' stop. The Shawnee Town 1929 Museum is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head west on 57th Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the museum on your right.

    If you prefer biking, there are bike rental services in Independence. Rent a bike and head west on Truman Road, which will turn into 40 Highway.
