Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes, and get off at the stop at 47th St & Oak St. From there, walk about 5 minutes north on Oak St to reach The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, located at 4525 Oak St, Kansas City, MO 64111.

If you are near the Independence City Hall, head west on Maple Ave for 1 mile until you reach the intersection with N Main St. Turn left onto N Main St and continue for another 0.5 miles until you reach the Independence Square. From there, you can follow the previous bus instructions or continue walking. If you choose to walk, it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

For those with access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Independence Square. Head west on Maple Ave to N Main St, then turn left and continue on Main St. After about 1 mile, turn right onto 39th St. Continue biking straight on 39th St for about 4 miles until you reach Oak St. Turn left onto Oak St, and the museum will be on your right in about 0.5 miles. The total biking distance is approximately 6 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.
