Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Independence Square, head east on W Maple Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants on your way. As you approach the intersection with S Noland Rd, keep going straight. The Independence Tourism Department is located at 111 E Maple Ave, on your right-hand side, just before you reach the corner with S Noland Rd. Look for a building with a sign indicating the Tourism Department.

    Board the local bus route that services the Independence area. If you are near the Independence Square, take the bus heading towards the 'Independence Center' and get off at the 'Maple Ave & Noland Rd' stop. Once you get off, walk east on Maple Ave for a short distance (about 2 blocks). The Independence Tourism Department will be on your left at 111 E Maple Ave.
