    Main Street Coffee House is located at 107 S Main St on Independence Square. If you are already on the Square, it is easily accessible by foot. The coffee shop is located on the west side of the square.

  • Public Transport

    Independence, MO, is implementing the IRIS rideshare program. This on-demand service operates Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and costs $5 per person per trip. The RideKC Freedom service is also available. A one-way trip within Independence costs $3. Trips within 3/4 of a mile of the 24 Route bus service and all rides within an ADA route are free.

    Street parking is available around Independence Square. There are also public parking lots north of Maple Street between Liberty Avenue and Main Street, and east of Osage Avenue between Maple Street and Lexington. Parking at 208 N Main St offers convenient access to the heart of Independence, MO, and is located within walking distance of the Independence Square and the Truman Library. Parking costs vary. Check posted signs for rates and time limits.
