    If driving, head towards Joplin, Missouri. From I-44, take exit 1 for MO-43/Stateline Road. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Downstream Casino. A few yards down Downstream Boulevard, take the gravel road to the left (south). The OK-KS-MO Tri-State Marker is at the end of this dead-end road. There is plenty of turning space for larger vehicles. Parking is free and readily available. Note: there may be tolls on I-44.

The OK-KS-MO Tri-State Marker, near Joplin, Missouri, marks the spot where Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma meet. Established in 1857 by an 800-member survey crew, the site has evolved into a point of interest for travelers and history enthusiasts.The original stone monument was built in 1938 by the Youth Work Administration. In October 2004, a new plaque was installed to mark the actual tri-point, located a few feet east of the original marker. Today, visitors can see both markers and enjoy the novelty of standing in three states simultaneously.The area provides a serene escape and a chance to reflect on the region's history. The marker is easily accessible for a brief stop during a road trip.
