From any location within Mark Twain National Forest, head to the nearest highway that connects to I-44. Once you reach I-44, follow the signs for Sullivan, MO. Take Exit 226 for MO-185 toward Sullivan. Continue on MO-185 until you reach the junction with Hwy W. Turn right onto Hwy W, and continue for approximately 3 miles. Meramec Caverns will be on your left at 1135 Hwy W, Sullivan, MO 63080.
Public Transportation

The closest major city is St. Louis, where you can take a Greyhound bus to Sullivan, MO. Once in Sullivan, you can either take a local taxi or rideshare service directly to Meramec Caverns at 1135 Hwy W, Sullivan, MO 63080.
