Car
If you are driving from the main areas in the Ozarks, start by getting onto MO-44 E from your location. Follow MO-44 E for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 218 for MO-19 N toward Cuba. Continue on MO-19 N for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with Missouri H. Turn left onto Missouri H and follow the road for about 5 miles. You will see the entrance to Onondaga Cave State Park on your right at 7556 Missouri H, Leasburg, MO 65535.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or other regional bus service to the nearest town, which is Cuba, MO. From Cuba, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to reach Onondaga Cave State Park, as public transport does not directly service the park. The taxi ride will be approximately 15 miles and may cost between $20-$30 depending on the service. It is advisable to book your taxi in advance, especially during peak tourist season.
Bicycle
If you are feeling adventurous and want to bike to Onondaga Cave State Park, ensure you are well-prepared. Starting from Cuba, MO, take MO-19 N for about 10 miles, then turn left onto Missouri H. The total distance from Cuba is approximately 15 miles. Please note that this route has sections with traffic, so wear a helmet and be cautious of vehicles. Plan for a leisurely ride, as it may take 1-2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
