Walking
If you are starting from the St. Charles Convention Center located at 1 Convention Center Plaza, head south on Convention Center Plaza toward Veterans Memorial Parkway. Turn left onto Veterans Memorial Parkway and walk east until you reach the intersection with South River Road. Turn right onto South River Road and continue walking south until you reach the Katy Trail. The St. Charles Historic District will be along the Katy Trail, marked by its historic buildings and vibrant atmosphere.
Public Transit
If you are near the St. Charles City Hall, located at 200 North Second Street, you can catch a bus from the nearby bus stop. Take the #405 bus towards the St. Charles Plaza and disembark at the stop closest to South Main Street. From there, walk south on South Main Street until you reach the Katy Trail, where the St. Charles Historic District is located. It will be a short walk filled with charming shops and eateries.
Biking
If you are near the Frontier Park, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services. Start from Frontier Park and head west on the Katy Trail, which is easily accessible. Continue biking on the Katy Trail, and you will soon arrive at the St. Charles Historic District, where you can explore the scenic area and its historic landmarks.
