From 1895 to 1964, the Security Building was home to the Noonday Club, an exclusive gathering place for St. Louis's leading businessmen. Notably, members of the Noonday Club played a crucial role in financing Charles Lindbergh's historic 1927 transatlantic flight in the Spirit of St. Louis.
