MetroLink
From The Loop, walk to the nearest MetroLink station, which is the Delmar Loop station. Board the MetroLink train heading towards the Central West End. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station. Once you exit the station, walk south on DeBaliviere Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the main entrance to Forest Park.
Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop in The Loop. Look for the MetroBus Route 58 that travels towards Forest Park. Board the bus and stay on for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the main entrance of Forest Park on Skinker Boulevard. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to reach the park.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in The Loop. Follow the bike lanes along Delmar Boulevard heading west until you reach Skinker Boulevard. Turn south on Skinker Boulevard and continue until you see the entrance to Forest Park. This ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to check the bike rental costs before you start your journey.
Walking
For a leisurely stroll, you can walk to Forest Park from The Loop. Start by heading south on Delmar Boulevard until you reach Skinker Boulevard. Turn left on Skinker Boulevard and continue walking for about 25-30 minutes. The park will be on your right. Enjoy the sights along the way!
