Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of White River Basin. Head southwest on Main St toward Country Rd. Continue on Country Rd for about 2 miles until you reach Highway 63. Turn left onto Highway 63 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit for Newburg and merge onto County Rd 7. After about 1 mile, you'll see signs for White House River Access. Turn right onto X276+G2, and you will find the access point on your left.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check if there are local bus services that run from White River Basin to Newburg. You may need to transfer buses in Newburg. Once you arrive in Newburg, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach the White House River Access. Input 'X276+G2, Newburg, MO 65550' in the rideshare app to get directions to the access point.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, you can cycle from White River Basin. Take the same route as if you were driving but be prepared for a ride of about 8 miles. Follow the main roads and use bike lanes where available. Make sure to wear a helmet and carry water, especially during warmer months. The journey will take approximately 45-60 minutes depending on your pace.

• Walking

  Walking to White House River Access is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 8 miles) and the lack of pedestrian pathways along Highway 63. However, if you choose to walk, head southwest on Main St, then follow the same direction as the car route. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the journey can take over 2 hours.
