    The Eternity Memorial Complex, located on Strada Pantelimon Halippa in Chișinău, Moldova, stands as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers in the Great Patriotic War and other conflicts. Inaugurated on May 9, 1975, the complex, formerly known as the Victory Memorial, commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory in World War II. It was built on the site of three old cemeteries: Lutheran, Orthodox, and Lipovan.The most prominent feature is the 25-meter high pyramid composed of five stylized rifles, symbolizing the five years of the war. Each rifle, made of black and red granite, is engraved with the years 1941-1945. At the base of the pyramid, an eternal flame burns continuously. The complex also includes a commemorative stone representing a stone flower and the star of soldiers originating from Moldova, with the names of fallen Moldovan soldiers engraved upon it.Visitors can also find the monument "Grieving Mother," dedicated to the War of Independence of Moldova from 1991-1992, a symbolic belfry, and a black cross marking the graves of fallen German soldiers. The complex is a place where citizens pay tribute to the fallen with flowers. Wreath-laying ceremonies are regularly held on national holidays.
