    The Eternity Memorial Complex, located on Strada Pantelimon Halippa in Chișinău, Moldova, is a significant memorial dedicated to the soldiers who died in the Second Jassy–Kishinev Offensive and other wars. Originally known as the Victory Memorial during the Soviet era, it was inaugurated on May 9, 1975, marking the 30th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory in World War II. The complex was built on the site of three old cemeteries: Lutheran, Orthodox, and Lipovan.The most prominent feature is the 25-meter high pyramid, comprised of five bayonets symbolizing the five years of the war, with the years 1941-1945 engraved on each. These stylized rifles, made of black and red granite, surround the eternal flame. The complex also includes a symbolic belfry, a bronze crown reading "We didn't forget you," and a black cross marking the graves of fallen German soldiers. The monument “Grieving Mother,” is dedicated to the War of Independence of Moldova from 1991-1992.Visitors can witness the changing of the guard ceremony, especially moving on national holidays. The park's peaceful atmosphere and green spaces provide a place for quiet contemplation. The complex serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made and an opportunity to connect with Moldova's past.
