Public Transport
To reach Bălănești Hill via public transport from Chișinău, take a bus from the Chișinău Central Bus Station (Autogara Nord) to Călărași. From Călărași, take local minibus route 11 towards Guranda and ask the driver to drop you off near Bălănești Hill. From there, it's approximately a 1-2 kilometer walk uphill to the hill. Bus fare from Chișinău to Călărași is approximately 40-80 MDL.
Car
If driving from Chișinău, take the E581 road toward Călărași. After about 40 km, exit towards the village of Bălănești and follow the signs. The road to the hill can be rugged, requiring a vehicle with higher clearance for the last stretch. Parking is available near the base of the hill. Driving distance from Chișinău is approximately 74 km. Expect to pay around 150-250 MDL for fuel.
Walking
If you arrive in Bălănești village by public transport, the hill is approximately a 30-minute walk from the village center. Head northwest from the center of the village and follow the main road, looking for signs pointing towards Bălănești Hill. The path can be uneven, so wear appropriate footwear.
