Walking

Orhei Town Hall is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from most points in the city center. From the Vasile Lupu Monument, walk approximately 200 meters east along Strada Vasile Mahu. The Town Hall will be on your right. Walking is free and allows you to explore the surrounding area.

Public Transport

If arriving from outside the city center, take a local marshrutka (minibus) to the central bus station. From there, the Town Hall is a 10-15 minute walk east along Strada Vasile Mahu. Marshrutka fares within the city typically cost 6 MDL. Ensure you confirm the route with the driver or locals.

Taxi

Taxis are available throughout Orhei. Use the iTaxi app or YandexGo, or call a local taxi service (+373 023 522 222 or +373 069 679 997). A short taxi ride from the edge of the city center to the Town Hall should cost approximately 15 MDL base fee, plus 3 MDL per kilometer. The Town Hall stands as a testament to Orhei's evolution and resilience throughout the centuries.Visitors are drawn to the Town Hall's elegant facade and the peaceful ambiance that surrounds it. The building is located near other attractions such as the Vasile Lupu Monument, a tribute to the ruler who secured the Moldovan throne in 1634. The "Orhei" sign near the monument is a popular spot for taking photos.
