To get to the Cave Monastery in Butuceni from central Orhei, start by walking to the main bus station, located on Strada Mihai Eminescu. Look for buses heading to Butuceni or the nearby village of Trebujeni. Buses typically leave every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Butuceni. From there, follow the signs to the Cave Monastery, which is approximately a 20-minute walk uphill.

If you prefer to walk directly to the Cave Monastery from the center of Orhei, start at the central park near Strada Alecu Russo. Head southeast on Strada Alecu Russo, then turn onto Strada Mihai Eminescu towards the bus station. Continue past the bus station and follow the road as it begins to curve. After about 2 kilometers, you will see signs indicating the path to the Cave Monastery. Follow the path up the hill, which will take you about 40 minutes of moderate walking.
