To reach Defileul Orhei from Chisinau, take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Central Bus Station (Gara Centrală) to the city of Orhei. Marshrutkas leave frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. From the Orhei bus station, Defileul Orhei is located on the southwestern edge of the city and can be reached by local transport or taxi. The marshrutka from Chisinau to Orhei costs around 40 MDL. A local taxi from Orhei bus station to the gorge should cost approximately 50-70 MDL.

From the center of Orhei city, Defileul Orhei can be reached by walking southwest along the main roads leading out of the city. The walk is approximately 3-4 kilometers and will take about 45-60 minutes. Be aware that sidewalks may not be consistently available along the route.
