From Chișinău, take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Central Bus Station towards Butuceni or Trebujeni. These depart approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Tickets cost around 46 lei. From Butuceni or Trebujeni, follow the signs to Old Orhei Fort, a walk of approximately 15-30 minutes.
Car
From Orheiul Vechi, drive southeast on local roads. Use GPS coordinates 47.3099011, 28.9731755 to navigate directly to Old Orhei Fort. The fort is about 15 minutes from the main tourist area of Orheiul Vechi. Parking is available near the entrance.
Walking
From the main visitor center in Orheiul Vechi, follow the marked trails towards the fort. The walk is approximately 2 km (about 30 minutes) and offers scenic views. Be prepared for uneven trails.
