Getting There

Walking
From the center of Fontvieille, head towards the waterfront promenade along the Port de Fontvieille. Enjoy the scenic view of the harbor and the luxury yachts. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. At the end, follow the signs towards 'Monaco-Ville' which will take you onto Avenue de la Porte Neuve. This road will lead you directly uphill towards the Old Town. As you ascend, take in the beautiful surroundings and look for the signs directing you to the Prince's Palace. Once you reach the top of the hill, you will see the Prince's Palace of Monaco directly ahead. The entrance is located at Place du Palais.

Alternatively, if you are closer to the Fontvieille Shopping Center, start by heading towards the main road, Route de la Piscine. Walk towards the roundabout at the entrance of the shopping area. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Avenue de la Madone, which will lead you uphill. Continue straight on Avenue de la Madone until you reach the junction with Avenue de la Porte Neuve. Turn left onto Avenue de la Porte Neuve, and follow this road as it takes you uphill towards the Old Town. You will eventually arrive at the Prince's Palace, which will be visible as you approach the top of the hill.
