Getting there

Walking

Casino Square is centrally located in Monte Carlo and easily accessible on foot from many nearby points of interest. From the Monaco-Monte Carlo train station, it's approximately a 20-minute walk. Simply follow the signs towards the city center and the Casino. As you approach, you'll see the iconic architecture and luxury boutiques surrounding the square.

Public Transport

Monaco's efficient bus network provides easy access to Casino Square. Several bus lines stop near the square, including lines 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 18. A single-trip ticket costs €2.00. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the square.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Monaco. A taxi ride within Monaco typically costs a flat rate of €18 for an immediate pick-up. However, some sources claim that the starting price for a taxi in Monaco is 3.0 EUR, and each KM is then priced at 2.0 EUR. If traffic becomes heavier, the charge is €1.33 per minute after a 3-minute delay. Taxi stands are located near the train station and other key areas. Be sure that the taxi is within Monaco to avoid additional fees.

Driving

If driving, follow the A8 motorway and signs for Monaco. Once in Monaco, follow signs for Monte Carlo and Casino Square. Parking is available in several underground car parks near the square. The closest car park is the Casino car park, located on Allée des Boulingrins. Parking rates typically start at €2.80 for 75 minutes. On-street parking is limited and has a maximum time of two hours.
