    Train

    From Monte Carlo, head to the Monte Carlo train station, which is located near the Casino de Monte-Carlo. You can walk there by heading northeast on Avenue de Monte-Carlo, then turn left onto Avenue de la Madone, and the station will be on your right. Purchase a ticket to Dolceacqua, which will require a transfer at Ventimiglia. Once you arrive at Ventimiglia, take the local train towards Cuneo and get off at Dolceacqua station. The train journey will take approximately 40 minutes.

    From Monte Carlo, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Monte Carlo - Gare Routière'. You can reach it by heading to Avenue de la Madone and following it to the bus station. Look for bus line 100, which goes to Ventimiglia. After around 30 minutes, you will arrive in Ventimiglia. From there, transfer to a local bus or taxi to Dolceacqua, which is about 10 minutes away.
