From Monte Carlo, head to the Monte Carlo train station, which is located just a short walk from the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Nice. Trains to Nice run frequently, with a journey time of about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Nice Ville station, exit the station and follow the signs to the tram. Take Tram Line 2 in the direction of the Port. Get off at the 'Jean Médecin' stop, and then transfer to Tram Line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur.' Get off at the 'Promenade des Anglais' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Ponchettes Public Beach.
Bus
From Monte Carlo, you can catch the No. 100 bus that runs regularly between Monaco and Nice. Board the bus at the Monte Carlo bus station, which is located near the Casino de Monte-Carlo. The bus ride to Nice takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nice bus station, follow the signs to the tram station and take Tram Line 2 towards the Port. Change at the 'Jean Médecin' stop to Tram Line 1 towards 'Hôpital Pasteur' and get off at the 'Promenade des Anglais' stop. Ponchettes Public Beach is a short 10-minute walk from there.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk from Monte Carlo to Nice. Start at the Casino de Monte-Carlo and head towards Boulevard des Moulins, then follow the coast along the D6098 road. This scenic route takes you along the coastline and offers beautiful views of the Mediterranean. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk to Ponchettes Public Beach, depending on your pace. Once you reach Nice, follow the signs to the beach area to find Ponchettes Public Beach.
