Bus
From Saint Roman, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Monte Carlo - Avenue de la Madone.' Catch bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Nice.' After approximately 15 minutes, get off at 'Sanremo - Via Martiri della Libertà.' From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Monte Bignone. Head east on Via Martiri della Libertà, then turn right onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight until you reach the base of Monte Bignone.
Train
Make your way to the Monte Carlo train station by walking to the 'Monte Carlo - Gare' stop. Board a train heading to 'Sanremo.' The train journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Sanremo station, exit onto Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. Walk straight, and take a left onto Via Martiri della Libertà. Follow this road until you reach Monte Bignone, which will be on your right.
Walking
If you're in Saint Roman, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Monte Bignone. Start at the 'Monte Carlo - Avenue de la Madone,' walk down to Avenue des Spélugues, and then follow the road leading down towards the coast. Once you reach the waterfront, follow the promenade towards Sanremo. This route will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering beautiful views of the Mediterranean.
