If you are traveling by car from Ulaanbaatar, take the main road towards the south. Drive approximately 30 kilometers until you see signs for Bogd Khan Mountain. Turn onto the road heading towards the mountain and follow it for about 10 kilometers. You will reach the entrance to the Bogd Khan Uul Strictly Protected Area, which is marked by a sign. There may be a small entrance fee, typically around 5,000 MNT per person.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the Ulaanbaatar bus station and look for a bus heading towards Zaisan or the Bogd Khan Mountain area. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes and cost around 1,000 MNT. Once you arrive at the Zaisan area, you will need to hire a taxi or a local minibus (known as a 'marshrutka') to take you to the entrance of the Bogd Khan Uul Strictly Protected Area, which is another 10 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 3,000 MNT for the taxi or minibus.
