Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Ulaanbaatar, head southeast on Chinggis Khaan Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Peace Avenue. Turn right onto Peace Avenue and follow it for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Zaisan Monument. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a road that leads up the hill towards the monument. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, and you will arrive at Zaisan Monument. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking regulations.

  To reach Zaisan Monument using public transportation, start by taking bus number 11 or 51 from the central bus station in Ulaanbaatar. The fare is approximately 1,000 MNT. Get off at the Zaisan stop, which is about 10 minutes from the bus station. From the bus stop, you will need to walk uphill for about 15-20 minutes. The path is well-trodden, and you will start to see signs leading you toward the monument. Wear comfortable shoes, as the walk can be steep.

  For a more direct route, consider using a taxi or a ride-sharing app like Yandex Taxi. Simply input 'Zaisan Monument' as your destination. The ride from the city center will take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare will typically range from 5,000 to 10,000 MNT. Confirm the fare beforehand to avoid any surprises.
