The journey is approximately 60 kilometers and will take about 1-1.5 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach Bayan-Ovoo, follow the local signs towards Delüün Boldog, which is located at coordinates 49.0218° N, 111.6247° E. You will need to navigate to the specific location marked as 2JCF+PV7 on the map. It's advisable to have a GPS or a reliable map app to assist you in reaching the exact site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, your first step is to reach Khentii. You can take a bus or shared taxi from Ulaanbaatar to Khentii, which usually takes around 7-8 hours and costs approximately 15,000 to 20,000 MNT. Once in Khentii, look for local buses or shared taxis heading to Bayan-Ovoo. The fare for this leg is around 5,000 to 10,000 MNT. Upon arriving in Bayan-Ovoo, you can either walk to Delüün Boldog, which is about a 30-minute walk, or hire a local taxi for about 5,000 MNT to take you directly to the site.
