Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Karakorum, head south on the main road (Route 1) for approximately 10 km. You will pass by the Erdene Zuu Monastery on your left. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 5. Turn left onto Route 5 and follow the signs for Ovorkhangai. After about 15 km, you will see signs for Orkhon Tushee Juulchny Baaz on your right. There is a small gravel road leading to the site.

• Public Bus

  Begin at the central bus station in Karakorum. Look for buses heading towards Ovorkhangai; they typically leave every hour. The fare is around 3,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Orkhon Tushee Juulchny Baaz. After approximately 30-40 minutes of travel, the bus will drop you off near the entrance. From there, it's a short walk to the site.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Karakorum. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 20,000 to 30,000 MNT for a one-way trip to Orkhon Tushee Juulchny Baaz. The taxi will take you directly to the location, which will take roughly 30 minutes depending on traffic.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a motorbike in Karakorum. There are several rental shops available. The cost is usually about 15,000 MNT per day. From the city center, take the same route as you would by car, but enjoy the flexibility to explore the surrounding area on your way to Orkhon Tushee Juulchny Baaz.
