Car
From the center of Karakorum, head southwest on the main road (6R4R+RHR) towards Kharkhorin. Follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see a sign for the First Turtle Marker; continue straight until you reach the marker, which will be on your right. There is no entry fee for visiting the marker.
Public Transportation
To reach the First Turtle Marker by public transport, go to the local bus station in Karakorum. Look for buses heading towards Kharkhorin or the nearby attractions. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the First Turtle Marker (6R4R+RHR). The bus ride should take around 15-20 minutes. The fare is usually around 1,000 MNT. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the marker, which will be visible from the road.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Karakorum to the First Turtle Marker, start at the main square and head southwest along the main road (6R4R+RHR). The walk is about 5 kilometers and should take around 1 hour. Make sure to stay on the road, and look for the marker as you approach; it will be on your right side.
