If you're coming from the city of Mörön, head west on the A-1 highway towards Hatgal. After approximately 60 kilometers, you will reach the village of Hatgal, which is situated on the shores of Lake Khövsgöl. As you enter Hatgal, look for signs that direct you to Modnii Uildver. The camp is located at 'Modnii Uildver, 3-r Bag, Hatgal'. It is advisable to use a GPS or a navigation app to guide you to the exact location, which is at latitude 50.4375391 and longitude 100.1698972. Parking is available on-site for visitors.
Public Transportation
From Mörön, take a shared minibus (known as a 'microbus') that goes to Hatgal. The journey takes about 2-3 hours and costs around 10,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Upon arrival in Hatgal, you can either walk or take a taxi to Mongol Ujin Camp & Tours. The distance from the bus stop to the camp is approximately 2 kilometers. If walking, proceed towards the lake and follow the local signs to Modnii Uildver.
