There is no entrance fee, but be prepared for some unpaved roads as you approach the site. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Erdene Zuu Monastery using public transportation, take a bus or shared minivan from Ulaanbaatar to Kharkhorin. The bus ride takes approximately 6-7 hours and usually costs around 15,000 to 20,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Once you arrive in Kharkhorin, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus toward the monastery. Taxis may charge around 5,000 to 10,000 MNT for the short trip (3 km) from the center of Kharkhorin to the monastery.
