The journey typically takes about 4-5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Once you reach Ulaanbaatar, follow the signs to the city center. When you get close, navigate towards the 11 khoroo area. The Zaisan Monument is located at VWM8+J5C, HUD - 11 khoroo, which is on a hill that provides a panoramic view of the city and the Tuul River. Parking is available near the monument, but be prepared for a short walk uphill to reach the monument itself.

  For travelers using public transportation, first, take a bus or minivan (known locally as a 'marshrutka') from Selenge River Basin to Ulaanbaatar. The bus station in Selenge will have schedules posted, and tickets can be purchased on-site. Once you arrive in Ulaanbaatar, head to the central bus station or the nearest major intersection where you can find local buses or taxis. To reach Zaisan Monument, you can take bus number 11 or 23 towards the Zaisan area. Disembark at the Zaisan stop, and from there, it is a short uphill walk to the monument. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Expect to pay approximately 5,000-10,000 MNT for the ride.
