    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from Sukhbaatar Square, head east toward the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. Continue walking along the main street, Chinggis Avenue, for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Peace Avenue. Cross the street and continue straight. After a few minutes, you will see the entrance to the National University of Mongolia on your left. The Stone Lion Statue is located at the University Gate, which is just inside the entrance.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From Sukhbaatar Square, take bus number 11 or 12 from the bus stop located at the square. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'National University' stop. After getting off, walk back towards the entrance of the university, and you will find the Stone Lion Statue at the University Gate on your right.

    Taxi (for those who prefer not to walk)

    You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Ulaanbaatar. Tell the driver 'University Gate' or 'National University of Mongolia.' The journey should take about 10 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the Stone Lion Statue will be visible at the entrance.
