Car
From the town of Red Lodge, Montana, head south on Highway 212. Continue on Highway 212 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the turn-off for Lake Fork Road (also known as Forest Road 119). Turn left onto Lake Fork Road. Follow this road for about 4 miles until you reach the Lake Fork Trailhead. There is ample parking available at the trailhead.

If you're using public transportation, take a Greyhound or similar bus to Red Lodge, MT. Once in Red Lodge, you will need to rent a car or arrange for a taxi service to reach Lake Fork Trailhead. From Red Lodge, follow the instructions for car travel provided above.
